These drawer systems do NOT require drilling as the USDM 80's have the 3rd row seats which is where the drawer base bolts to. The models that require drilling for mounting are the 80's that did not come with 3rd row seats in other countries.

You ought to check out Easy Slide fridge drop slides, super slick and really robust. I have had one for about 4 years now (before being readiliy available in the US) and zero complaints. See here: Easy Slide - Lowering Travel Fridge Slide By Clearview

I have no affiliation to Easy Slide, just use and like their product, ES150 for my National Luna 52Qt. fridge. No more climbing up onto the tailgate to get a coldie. ;)

@Bludozer , you might be thinking of the African Outback drawers that were available years ago. To my knowledge, all Outback and now ARB drawers have only been available in gray/black carpeting.

Has anyone installed a set of these WITHOUT drilling? Picked up a set yesterday instead of building my own largely because i thought they bolted in without the need to drill through the floor. Instructions state to drill multiple 10mm holes which i'd much prefer not to do. Can't seem to find any threads with a really detailed install.
I had to drill one bolt, I could mount one in the floor at one of the seat attach points I believe, but couldn’t get another one to line up so I just drilled thru floor and put a nut on. I mounted the rf 1045

Interesting. thats what i thought. Going to just go for it with the third row anchor bolts then. Really not wanting to drill any permanent holes. I'll see if i can get them to line up. When i put it back there initially to line it up the instructions measurements definitely didn't make sense.
Did you guys just fully remove the third row anchors themselves? or just reuse on side and leave the anchor in place?

Thanks for chiming in. Hopefully i can figure out how to line them up without needing to drill.

Bump still looking for some info. None of the mount hole options for the bottom cross bar line up with the 3rd row floor mounts. I'm either an Idiot or really overlooking something

Edit forward most (back of drawer) lines up. I just can't get them to line up at the front/tie down anchor it calls for.

That was my issue also, ended up just drilling hole for one bolt, my truck is early 94 maybe it’s a year thing?

Ended up getting the second set of holes to line up. The only issue now is that the drawer handles press slightly into the tailgate carpet. Not sure if that's others experience as well or if they're too forward just slightly. Not sure how i'd be able to adjust them back any more at this point using these cross member bolt holes.

I just installed these. You have to drill out the rear tapped hole to 10mm on the front factory tie down on each side. It won’t fit properly otherwise. You have to do it for both 5 and 7 seat models. (I ended up disassembling everything and redoing the install after re reading the instructions)
Edit: you’re also supposed to trim that plastic bottom trim strip off the drawers. The one that’s making contact with the metal floor trim.

weird. ARB claims you don't need to do that for US models like mine above. Were you able to slide them further back by doing that?
I'd rather have the small bit of contact than drill out those holes.

Yes, it sits back about a half an inch more than before. Here is the section in the instructions:

Yeah i remember reading that. However when i talked with other 80 owners that had them none had done that.
I didn't want to drill out anything in my truck personally.
@NLXTACY I know you have/had arb's in one of your trucks. Did you drill it out or are you using the 4 seat anchors?

I drilled it but will be removing it for something better down the road.
