My birthday is coming up and I thought I'd beg for a CO2 system and was looking at the Outback CO2 tanks. There's a bracket offered to secure the tank. Anybody have any good locations where to mount the bracket?

When I was last talking to Christo he was working on a bracket system as well that I think mounted to the third row bars. Anybody heard how that's going? I'll call Christo in the morning but that I'd check here first.

I saw on Off-road.com where Chris Geiger fabbed up a mount for his tank using the 3rd row seat bracket. I don't know if this is what you had in mind but here is the link. Hope this helps.

The bracket that Christo's doing bolts to the grab handle up top, then you drill 4 holes in the floor and bolt it down. It's also an internal tire carrier.. which is its first job. There's a pic of the prototype towards the end of this post https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=29284.

I used the 3rd row seat belt mounting nut and bolted mine there, works great and its up and out of the way
