I came from a Gen II Pajero before stepping up to the 80. Congratulations. Mitsubishi may be suffering in the U.S. Market but there's a healthy market and aftermarket for it overseas.

I think a lot of Monty owners hang out at 4x4wire.com. . What mods are you running on the Gen III?

if you don't wheel too hard, the old 4runners are great cars and can be picked up for a reasonable price. I had one previously with a v6 and a rear locker and it worked great off road as well as on the street for family camping, etc.

Well, I got a change to sit in a wrecked Monty in the Pick N Pull yard and really liked the interior layout. Seems like the space is used more efficiently in the Monty than the 80. That one was the older one with solid rear axle and it looked like a D60 size.

Would you mind uploading some pics of the undercarriage? Haven't seen an all around independent suspended Monty before.
