Thinking of selling these. With the prices of of theses things all over the place I would not want to insult anyone or give them away( done that before) So I am asking for some input on value vs listing them with a price that's to low or high.

They came off of my 1965 FJ45 L PB. I also bought a set of the repo ones for the 45 but decided to go with splits instead.

These original hubcaps are solid but have dings.

I thought that I would post in this thread because of the expertise and knowledge you have of the older cruisers.
I apologize if this is the wrong place to post.

Thanks,
Mark

Ummmmmm, OK. Since this was a thread looking to establish value, post the selling price? You know, so no one has to repeat the exercise.

It sold before you found a price... I think you 'gave them away' again lol

looked into price in about 2012' to sell my only cap... But... Held onto it because repro caps were out and wasn't worth it to sell

How much did you sell for?

Enquiring minds want to know... LITP how much did you pay? Lol

They sold for $275 hope this helps.

Pardion, yes I sold the repo's also.

I don't know Johnny I think they sold for a very fair price, but I am biased :grinpimp:

They are gonna be perfect for my '65 survivor project. Thanks for the good deal Mark!

JP, I glad they went to a good home. Can't wait to see them on your LV.

I thought since they were snatched up so fast you bought them John @Living in the Past LOL

LITP is a "collector" ... hoard cruiser things

Hoard:
"to accumulate for preservation, future use, etc., in a carefully guarded place"

Yep we are jealous :)

Got the wrong JP Johnny. There is new hoarders in town. Haven't picked any new hub caps since I bought two repos with holes from Mike in his original batch he sold.

I didn't even notice this thread until today. Was busy working on the trailer I bought this weekend. Few things need to be fixed just to make it road worthy. Was searching CL looking for landscaping tools and found a trailer made from a early seventies mini truck that I couldn't pass up. Do wonder how it would look with a early 40 axle with stock wheels and early hub caps. FJ25 wheels might be a bit much.

That's a nice and impressive collection! Awesome!
