in most cases they will send you out a sample...about the same size as the one your getting from me :)

nice:)

I will have them ship me a chunk and see if they sync up size wise :)

Cannot wait till i can rebuild the doors :)

and no i have not looked at the canvas behind the door hinge as of yet haha, I will this weekend though, assuming i do not have to work :(

Maybe i should do that tonight.

Ok so pulled a hinge off

Looking like they were black canvas stock...

Seems odd, but who knows :)
Anyone seen a red fj with black canvas doors>?

that does look alil shinny on the outside ...looks to be an early black cotton with a plasticoat on the outside....the early kayline replacement tops where a thick heavy cotton just like that.

my truck is a 74 i have had 2 black kaylines before my current od ....tops dont last very long when they are neglected or subject to continual weather

most likely a replacement. If you look at the twist lock spacing on the tub it would indicate that. I would just replace it with an ehsan tan or od.

ok door seal update:

these guys seem to have something pretty close to what Johnny sent me:

( however it is an 8th of an inch shy in the height profile )
Will this be problematic ?

this is the slice from Johnny:

I think a larger issue would be that the 112-D the end tapers in...this will make the edges not seal all the way around the whole door.

If you look at my sample the 1/16" side seals against the bow

what are their thoughts on making one to match? (from metro)
