Complete frame-off rebuild in 1997. Body and chassis 100% disassembled and sandblasted before priming with PPG DP 40 Epoxy Primer. Single stage Chroma 1 Urethane paint (1997 Cherokee)
1990 Fuel Injected Camaro 305 small block V8 (not rebuilt) with Howell Engine Development Wiring Harness for EFI integration (includes installation manual)
Muncie SM420 4 speed manual truck transmission (rebuilt) with super low first gear
6” Spring over lift
Rancho Suspension shocks
Full Roll Cage
New 35” tires
ARB Air Lockers front and rear
Mechanical air compressor (A/C) with remote air tank underneath bed
4 wheel disc brakes: Toyota front, GM rear with
Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve
Hard Top and hard doors included (painted, never been mounted)
Heater blower and manifold parts included but not installed (painted)
Spare tire and spare tire carrier included (painted, unmounted)
I built this rig in 1996 from the ground up. It has been on a few deer hunts in the coastal mountains and the Rubicon twice and handled those obstacles with ease. The truck has only a few thousand miles on it since I put it together. At the time of build I was into buying and selling FJ's and chose a pre-1970 chassis to be smog exempt in California. I have records of engine management, wiring details, and part numbers for paints,. serpentine belt, fuel, oil and air filters, brake booster, radiator hoses, serpentine belt, master cylinder, etc..
