Got them through 4 wheel parts during one of their sales. Service was good, one spring came without bushings but actually called Procomp and they had them out the same day to me.

Should be able to see them there. Just basic stock length shackles from cruiser outfitters.

These shackle angles look great to me. My experience with Pro-Comps on the 55 was a different story. Travis, these pro-comps might be a viable ( and relatively cheap) option after all. You can always upgrade the shocks later if needed.

I love your truck BTW. The pinstripes and patina are 👍. Also a fan of those Maxxis tires. I have a set on my 55 and a set on my 60. Best tire for the $ IMO.

Thanks yeah the Maxxis tires are great. I haven't ridden in another 40 to compare but it does ride a little rough. Maybe shocks could help

Bilsteins really soften things up.

I would just go with the procomp.
Upgrade the shocks at a later date.

Thank you guys for providing invaluable feedback regarding springs. I ordered ProComp 2” lift kit today. Should be in after two weeks. I will post up on Wisdom/Folly how everything looks installed.

Sigh....:D

Zero weight on so far. Not sure of the angles but I guess I will see after I put the engine and body back on. I decided to put the springs on backwards to extend the wheel base. Rear pushed back two inches, front three inches. That means relocating the front shock towers and welding eyelets to the 60 series axle. Temporary ‘78 40 series axle in the back right now. Cheers.
