Hello boys. Wanted an opinion of value on this. Pictures basically say it all. In tact with obvious work needed. Frame has passed an inspection but will need attention. The engine is apparently solid but again with the usual things to be dealt with. Differential needs to be replaced. I'm sure a few other surprises. Paying 5k. This might not be the best spot for this post. Is so my bad. I can move it...

Id buy it for that

Most canadian rigs are rusty,I bought one a few years ago and being from california I couldnt stand the frame pitting, and alot of body rust.I ended up selling and would never touch another one. This one looks pretty good, but it all depends on what your going to do with it,if a frame off resto is the plan,I would find a dry rust free rig that is solid but needs everything. There are plenty of threads on here what started out as a nice project and ends up with major sheet metal replacement! Just my .2 cents!

As Whitey said, rust is not your friend. I would definitely bring a magnet to see how much body filler and hidden rot is behind the paint. Inspect carefully and thoroughly. Are the TOYOTA letters missing off the tailgate, or is that just me? Also, wasn't the listing on KIJIJI for 4500? If the diff is toast and rust repair needed, I would definitely hammer them down a bit.

Pretty sure it's a after market tail gate. Don't get me wrong it's not perfect. Frame is pretty damn decent. It spent the first part of her life in BC which is a tad better than other parts of Canada

What's the story on the trimming at the back of the box on the bottom?

Looks like the panel part of the tailgate was replaced. That's not surprising. I wonder where the marker lights in the box are.

I like the tires.

I'd say $5000 is a good price.
