Yeah don't ask how. Anyway I caved the housing in just enough to rub the squirrel cage and prevent it from turning. So I gotta take it off and flatten it out again. Figured while I've got it apart I'd give the blower a once over since it's the 31 year old factory original too, and make sure it's good for a while still.

So my question is, can it be removed without having to disconnect the rear heater core? I've never attempted to take it out before.

Rear seat center mounted FJ62 heater BTW.
