John, we have fallen back on sending packets out over the last few months, I will get something in the mail to you tomorrow. Dues are based on an annual basis with the last few months being prorated. Theres a bit more information on the ONSC website.

UPDATE:

Jon and I will be working together to get these out in the next two weeks, I have a list of who has and has not recieved them and we will be getting those that never recieved anything out in the next two weeks. Sorry for any confusion or frustration.

Greg

Well, I finally got around to getting my TLCA membership - #19989.

Crazy thing is the website says to allow 4-6 weeks for processing - I registered on the TLCA website on 12/10 and received my packet yesterday 12/14, approx 2 business days  - freaky fast.

Did you do that deal they have where you pay $40 and get member ship to the BRC and a $25 certificate for 4wps??

If you email them i'm sure they will let you pay for that one instead.

What do you do if you paid the dues prior to your 1/3/10 update? Send the difference via Paypal?

Based on discussions during our annual meeting, members that joined before the published increase will be grandfathered in for the membership they paid for.

However, you are more than welcome to donate the additional amount if you want to.

Thanks,
Jon

I was at the meeting an I'm confused - ha!

Grandfathered in for the 2010 year or for forever? (I would imagine you mean only 2010 - come 2011 you up the ante)

But I also thought we were making Feb our yearly renewal for all members.
Makes no difference to me - as long as somebody knows what's going on, just tell me when I need to pay and I'll be good! Ha!

You shouldn't have been drinking so much...:flipoff2:...only kidding.

If you have not yet paid your dues for 2010 than you are responsible for paying the stated amounts above if wishing to renew or become a new member. For those that weren't at the meeting or are new to the club prior to the increase in dues were "grandfathered" in with option to donate the difference. Yes we are making February the renewal deadline for all existing members. We had 5 or so members that were unaware of the increase prior to postings so those are the ones that have been "grandfathered" in.

Hope this helps clarify the issue.

If I recall correctly...joining in the last month of the year would give membership to the following year, a "grace period" so to speak. We then discussed quarterly reductions for the annual dues in the event someone joined in April or July or other month, they'd pay less, not 100% of the annual dues.

I believe the Feb reference was a reminder so to speak, to be given at the annual BBQ at the farm. I'm sure my vagueness will be clarified by those who paid better attention than I did...

I just reupped! Looking forward to a strong 2010.
