Toyota only makes boring cars, but they seem to be winning Lemans. Again.

They do make boring cars for the most part. The GR Corolla is the first exciting car they have made for NA since the MKIV supra pulled out in 97. Ferrari won overall again though.

Great video, btw. However. The cups/etc That Timmy lists are now like 2.5x what he got them for - so I'd go Total Chaos if I had to.

Does anyone in Raleigh have the cups for a IFS Toyota for pressing the upper ball joints? Willing to loan?

For my 2001 Tundra.

I thought I had the right sizes - nope.

Looking for something like this: Toyota Sequoia 2001-2007 BALL JOINT REMOVAL- SLUG ADAPTER INSTALL TOOLS | TOTAL CHAOS FABRICATION - https://www.chaosfab.com/product/2001-2007-Toyota-Sequoia-Ball-Joint-Removal-Tool-96005

Or ones that are tried/tested?

Thanks!
Does Icon make the Delta Joint for your application? I switched from TC uniball to Icon Delta Joint about 6 years ago and with regular lubing, they are still holding up. Before I was changing uniballs about every 18-24 months.

Not sure - I was planning to go back stock UBJ, though. Not sure how many more $$ I want to put into Reba when @Comet is likely buying her back in a few years. :)

I bought the kit and the expansion kit for the ball joints. Apparently owning older vintage ifs vehicles, one needs to change out the ball joints all at once in all of them.

^^ I think the "jury is still out" on both products btw - I honestly would like just an updated nav unit that can input locations. Can do this for much cheaper. . . still looking around :) Advice welcome.

Didn’t watch the whole video

For land nav and mapping software you really can’t beat onX app for your phone.
Pay the monthly or yearly subscription and be done with it.
You already have your phone with you. You already have service. You can use we boost to help with furthering your signal.
But that app is the easiest mapping software out there and it has a lot of YouTube videos to teach you how to use it if you want to use the more advanced features which I don’t use anyway.

In the same vein as OnX I've been using Gaia GPS and I'm pretty happy with it, not sure how it is for OnX but I really like that I can use the same account and have everything saved across multiple devices including a nice web version so I can easily preplan on my PC. I bought a Samsung tablet in part to use for Gaia which works nicely even though it only has GPS but I often just use my phone anyways.

I used Gaia ( and still have it on my phone) for a decade before switching to OnX this year.

The onX app is pretty easy to use for me for some reason.
Just wanted to give it a try. But more likely will continue to use it.

Got 17.5 mpg today in the tundra and also did this
