Well this past weekend JP and I finished up the cruiser....and we were making dang good progress till we ran into the monkey wrench. We tightened downt he tie rods, switched out the tcase plate, finished puttin in the tranny hump, got her to turn over and idle, and then the inevitable monkey wrench...the drive shafts...my current drive shaft is too long so I got one from Marshall...right size..wrong ends....since I kept the 68 pumpkin and have a 68 ebrake a 4 speed drive shaft doesn't line up with the bolts....so we could fix one end with switching the yokes but that still left the other end. So I'll be getting a couple of flanges from marshall to try and make one of them work....and then the second thing is the front drive shaft is now too short...so I'll have to get it lengthened unless someone out there may have a loose one hanging around. Knock on wood as far as makin her drive and move it's the drive shafts that are the last straw. So we'll see what happens and we'll go from there. Hope to have it at the BBQ but well see.
