There is this Griffin Technology contraption that should be "Coming Soon". I'm looking forward to testing it out when it's available.

Since this was brought up, is there one for Windows Mobile?

This might be getting a little too far off OP, but i am looking into using this Garmin product https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=38354 with my Kendwood DDX receiver (uses Garmin nav). The Garmin unit plugs into OBDII and transmits to the head unit. So the head serves as gauges, nav, radio, BT phone, iphone media and charging. Ironically, the ecoroute part is lost in a hundy.

I will definitely be watching Dev Toaster tho, especially for ipad.

The ecoRoute looks great. Have you confirmed it works with the Kenwood/Gramin products? Website only shows compatibility with Nuvi.

Yeah, I got to believe there has to be something for iphone. No way droid has something that iphone doesnt. (sarcasm). I got too many apple products to jump ship, yet.

I have not confirmed anything yet, but read on the net somewhere that ecoroute works with Kenwood DNX6160 I think. I have the 616, So I may be out of luck. On the other hand, I have not yet purchased the nav component for my head unit yet, so I may be able to use the upgraded one. I need to look into it more, but it wont be happening fast...

Torque App w/ Bluetooth OBDII Dongle

This is the app I'm using on my Droid. I bought a cheap dongle from China on e-bay to try out.

Torque — OBD2 Performance and Diagnostics for your Vehicle

Works pretty good. The dongle mounts right above your gas pedal which could cause some clearance issues with some of the bigger footed guys! Some of the more expensive dongles connect via a cable to the OBDII port so you can mount the bluetooth part out of the way.

Any updates on those using the Rev app and something like the Pixx Wifi obd reader? I just want to confirm that it reads coolant temps in an FJ80...
