I tried searching, but nothing came up. I've even looked in the OME dealer book. Does anyone know the length of shocks used in the OME 2 1/2" or any other 3" lift kit? Thanks in advance for the help.

I have an Ironman shock for what I think is the 2.5" lift on my truck and it is +-20" long in it's neutral state. I took a pic but can't seem to get it sized right to upload. Ironman oart number 12635gr9.

Thanks, do you have the extended or collapsed length by chance?

Thread revival: old thread, same problem 12 years later!

So I have the same problem. Found this little nugget on the OME website:

If the N42 is the correct shock for the 45 with their 2.5'' lift, then a 359mm to 594mm shock should do it. Hope this helps! I'm in the same boat.

For the application guide see here:

Thanks for posting @Ambrew

Been looking for this information to find suitable replacements.

Installed these Gas-A-Just's,, and I like the ride. Instead of riding like a brick, it rides like a brick with rounded edges, which I suppose is how the were originally...

Edit: stock height. I think these would work with a 2'' lift as well. when fully extended they went past the stock spring at full sag bit an inch or so.

I will drive it a bit to get a feel with just the shocks, next step is indeed tire pressure... one step at a time. The previous monroe gas magnum's were definitely stiffer, and the front right was toast.

The price on the KYB's was too good to pass up. I also have a set on the front of my 42 (with 2" OME med. springs) and quite like them.
