If it helps, I can meet you in los banos/hwy 5 Area. It will save you a couple hours to my place.I have a winch on my trailer, so a trailer swap shouldn’t be a big deal!

Awesome so we just have 167 Miles from Bakersfield to Los Banos to cover, anyone out there able to help with this ?

What day will it need to move from Bakersfield to the Bay Area? If I can help out I will. I wish I seen this before all my stuff was moved to VA I have a set of jump seats once I get my household goods back from the movers I will get them to Kevo. Hope that helps.

We don't have a day as such yet. I can get it to Corona for its Trip to Bakersfield pretty much anytime so will work with @RodrigzCrzr to make it as easy as possible for him. I am not sure what his drop ability in Bakersfield is, maybe we can get a location there where we can drop it for pickup so we don't need to pass the truck each time .

It looks like the stars aligned and we are getting to move into our house today! I am ready!

Ok looking at the logistics we have going on here we might be better of looking for drop points so we can space out the pickup / drop off cycle.

For example I will take it to Corona when @RodrigzCrzr is ready to go north so getting it to Bakersfield should be easy enough just need to co-ord with @65swb45 to pickup the parts on the way past. Once it is at Bakersfield do we have any mudder there that would store it for a few days to allow the Bakersfield to Los Banos leg to be done without having to meet up ? This may make it easier to find someone to haul it.

So my run is direct to Bakersfield as soon as we get the crusier.

I don't know how much this helps, but I will be in LA March 28-31. If need be I can take my dad's diesel and would be willing to give up a day to take it from LA to the Bay Area..I'll just have to talk to my girlfriend about it tonight since we're going together to confirm it's alright with her.

I think the current plan will be for me to get it to @RodrigzCrzr who can then take it to Bakersfield and drop it off at @thorslc1977 in Bakersfield . Time line for this is pretty flex but will be a weekend to suit @RodrigzCrzr

That will then see it sitting at @thorslc1977 safly in Bakersfield.

We then have @whitey45 who can take it from Los Banos to @kevos37

So the only Gap we have is from Bakersfield to Los Banos ... anyone out there able to help out with that ? Pickup would be from @thorslc1977 who will be holding it for us so timing is pretty flex.

I'll talk to the girlfriend tonight and see if we can fit in the schedule. I don't mind driving from LA to @thorslc1977's to get it. It would be 8 hours total I think I could manage that if I left early enough. I'll have an answer for you guys tonight.

We do have a quad trailer but if we can time it right it'd be nice to just hook up and go. Dad's not going but he's got a 2002 F-250 with a 7.3 that should be more than capable of doing the job and I could use that.

Righto it looks like this is going down on 17 Mar 19 it will make its move from Valley Center North to Corona and then onto Bakersfield to be dropped for the next leg.

In line with this for those who pledged parts and have not yet shipped please do so ASAP or if you can't this week then wait for @kevos37 to get settled and ship direct.

I also want to thanks all those guys I have never met who sent stuff for the cause, it has been warming to see the community come together and people wanting to get involved and actually following through.

I am sure Kev won't have this up and going the day after he gets it and I would not be surprised if the tub gets replaced when a straighter one comes along but the chassis is good, title is clear and plenty of fellow mudders have provided a significant amount of cruiser gold.

The aim of this provide Kev and some other who have been watching with some relief from their troubles and show them that there are still good people out there who will help out if possible. This could not have happened without the community and for that I thank you all.

From here IF ANYONE IN SOCAL has some body panels it would be great to get some doors, fenders and a hood so I can bolt them on and have it looking more cruiser resto ready
