In the garage.
I pulled off the oil pan from my 2F (83 FJ60) and it is all full of little holes under the skid plate area. Has anyone got a good fix for this? Or best to just replace it? Anyone got a good one for sale? Best place to get a new one? Anyone? Thanks, Tony.

my solution...

Hey, that's nice dslcruzr --- Why don't you make a couple for a 2F and sell 'em... ?

I ended up cutting out the bottom of mine out and welding in a new thicker piece of steel.

Smuckster has a brand new 2f oem pan/gasket listed in the classifieds right now.

Mine leaked all of the oil out in the driveway after getting a bath at the car wash. Good thing I only drove it around the block. Call up Cruiserdan and get a new one...200bux.

I used outdoor caulking around the base of the new pan to keep the water from collecting in between the skid plate and the pan.

Can't seem to find it. Can't PM "smuckster" either. Any help?

that's a great price if he still has it...do it up.

If there is a market for them, I could look into making some up. I made mine from 1/4" Aluminium, waayyy overkill. Could make 'em with 1/8" to keep the prices down.

I don't need one right now, but as prone as they are to rust out, I could definitely see a market for these. Let us know what the cost would be. Thanks.

There's a rumor that the later 2F oilpans were made of thinner material than the early 2F oilpans...Do you know if an early (say, '76) 2F oilpan will fit on your 60 2F? I've got a couple if you want to try...

How much? No idea...how 'bout 50 bucks? Shipping would be a problem, I'd probably have to clean it up and box it. You know anybody coming to Surf & Turf?
