Gimp, it's not that hard to do a transfer case rebuild, it's been documented several times on Mud. Although, it's a lot easier if you've got access to a transmission jack.

getting a speed jack for christmas. My problem is i have no garage to work in only driveway.
In all that tubing Marshall has in his warehouse is an old canopy frame he used when he did bbq competitions....go get it the buy a 30 dollar tarp and you have instant garage.

i've done 3 engine swaps, 1 engine build, 1 custom turbo kit, 1 driving restoration, 1 sail boat restoraton and countless other repairs from timing belt to R&P to tranny swaps to system installs in a gravel drive with no roof.
all you need are wood blocks, jacks, jack stands and the will to fxxx something up!!!
