what was bad about #6?
what kind of pressure testing are they going to do on the head?

and goes to show you that these oil analyses are worth it!
 
The same head gasket problem that everone else has had, the back part of the #6 cylinder.
I'm not sure what the pressure test is, that's how the machinist said he was going to see if it had any cracks. It was also warped by .008, so he was going to machine the head. I don't think that I ever overheated the engine, so I was'nt to concerned with the head being cracked. I just wanted to make sure after reading the posts from Doug.
I would defiantly advise everyone to get there oil checked.
 
8mils is a lot of machining. My 93 manual indicates a new head is required if warpage is greater than 5.9mils on the block side.
 
My mistake .00008in.
Max warp on 96 is .0059 in.
