After a few weeks of my wife driving my 2000 LX470 to work and back, we purchased a new 2017 Land Cruiser in Brandywine Mica exterior - black interior. Had planned to purchased in the July/August time frame, but best laid plans...

Got a decent price at $78,257 including delivery charge, and port/dealer options of added LLumar window tint, Paint Protect film, phone cable, carpet mats, and the way too expensive for what you get - Toyoguard.

Welcome to Mud! I saw one just like yours at the dealership a few weeks ago. Unusual color, but it looks classy.

Beautiful ride... congrats & enjoy... This site is awesome with all the institutional knowledge available from its many expert members... (of which, I am NOT one, but I'm reading and learning everyday.)

Actually wanted the Classic Silver, but dealer said he loses the holdback if he has to trade. Looked in various sites, couldn't find a silver within 250 miles - color difference wasn't worth something north of $1500.

Welcome to the 200 clan!

Not a very ggod pic - taken from inside the garage - but you know, the pics or it didn't happen rule.

Would love to see a sunny version of that color.

Afternoons when I get home it has been mostly overcast. But thought I should post before this thread got way buried and I forgot about it.

The color is sort of strange. Parts in the shade take on a brownish color (I think also referred to as poop colored in another recent thread). Straight on in the mid-day sun it has a dark red, heavy metallic look. The view in the pic below, if properly color balanced, would maybe best be termed a maroon. At night, and with a little distance, it could be mistaken for black.

Not poo... METALIC POO. :hillbilly: And even though that was my invented description trying to describe the LC color I'd seen at the dealership...the truth is, in person? It looks fantastic.

Bumping this thread. Saw a new LC this color on a dealer lot in Billings, MT. They have it marked at $83k and change. I'd like to make an offer on it, and am wondering how low I can go and still be taken seriously.

@LBridges you got a good price in my opinion.

Regarding my price...I think so too, with the port and dealer add-ons the window sticker price was $88,080. The advantage I had is their fleet manager's wife is in my wife's "girls night out" group.

I'm clueless on what a LC should sell for in your neck of the woods. I would suggest looking at Truecar.com then offering the low end of the curve - AND be willing to walk away.

Not sure how it would work for you, but for me I made a small down payment as SE Toyota Finance (a subsidiary of the regional distributor) was subsidizing the sale. The day I got my loan account number and payment address I sent them a check for $40,000 as my first payment. If you can get a decent sale price, won't hurt to ask the finance manager if a similar subsidizing deal can be made (don't have to tell them that you will use other cheaper money to actually pay off the loan).
