First time Land Cruiser purchase. 2018 LC. It's been in Virginia/DC area its whole life. Meticulously maintain. Clean Carfax, low miles. Need help on knowing if this rust is acceptable or walk away. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

As someone who lives in the north, this looks absolutely pristine. This is about the amount of surface rust I would expect to see on a new vehicle up here. No concern at this point. If you wanted to be extra cautious after purchase have it treated to assist in stopping the corrosion from progressing any further assuming you’re not taking it to the southwest where that is not even necessaryThat's wild! So, wouldn't concern you at all?

I would try to remove anything that was flaky with a wire brush, sanding or a needler. For the areas that are minor maybe a scotch bright only. Then use a rust encapsulator/inhibitor followed by black frame paint. How would you have it treated?

hahaha...not a joke, but I get it. Thanks for the replySometimes when I see these posts/threads, I can't help but think they are a joke. And this is coming from someone from AZ.....
To answer your question though, that thing is pristine for a vehicle from 2018. Regardless of the mileage. Looks like they didn't even drive it much in winter since I believe they salt the roads out there.
Thanks, all! Very helpfulI'm as picky as anyone and would have no problem owning that.
