I've never had a title for any of the 4 trailers I've owned. Just go to the registry with a bill of sale and register it as homemade.

Those rims are probaby worth more that the trailer!

Homemade trailers can only be registered up to 3000 lbs as far as I know. Get into an accident and it could be trouble.

Anyone interested in a stock 78 FJ40 resto project? One owner, 55K, has been sitting for 15 or so years. All wheels turn, motor turns over. PM please. Never wanted to sell this truck, but that damn mortgage payment won't stop coming!

Also have a really nice, complete PTO winch (three speed gearbox) for sale. :(

If anyone is interested i have a working ABS pump/actuator with bracket for sale. It came out of a 93. asking $100.00 +plus shipping would prefer iit be picked up. The pump is in Chelmsford, Ma.

Good question. I was looking for 4k, this includes the original factory rims and tires. I'd be looking for around $3200 without rims and tires. It has four rollers on it now. Maybe I'm crazy, let me know. I have the door straps, original delivery paperwork, etcetera. It's a pretty cool 100% original time capsule. It needs to stay stock IMO.

WTB- looking for a lift kit for my 1970 fj40. I would like something between 2.5-4 inch lift. Also looking for some tires 33x10.5x15. Let me know. Thanks

Hi all -

I know this borders on being sacrilegious, but I'm wondering if anybody semi local to western MA has a 40 series that's not a good candidate for restoration, but would be suitable for plowing? Wouldn't need to be road worthy, since it'll never leave my property. Especially interested if the plow's already rigged.

Thanks,

Steve

Unfortunatly even the junk ones are either not running or worth something (or both). You might be better off looking for a small Toyota pickup or something.

OK, thanks guys. I'll keep hunting.
Just keep a look out on craigslist and you'll find something. A few years back I bought an FJ45 with a plow for $700 on CL. It was rough but perfectly adequate for a yard.
