Any 80's? I checked their site, but you can't search for a model, only a part.

I wish I could tell you.....they are pretty good via email and definitely on the phone, though - could probably tell you right away (I know, not very helpful ;) ).

WANTED: Looking for a Peg Perego Gaucho. I've searched craigslist and Facebook Marketplace with no luck. Hoping one of you all may have one that you might be willing to let go of.

It appears you can get one style from Walmart. It got a terrible review and strangely appears to have a remote control.

I just spent a bit of time on BringaTrailer.com. Seems like the price for 40s is down while the price of 80s are really starting to climb. 60/62s are the current king of the hill with high prices across the board. If you have a 60 series you have been thinking of selling now is a great time. I think it is time for me to build out the two 62s I have sitting, waiting. Both will go on 80 rollers with a swap etc.

By down, do you mean, below $80k?

Anyone have an upper tailgate for a 100 series. Trying to help a friend locate a replacement for his rusty one
Patrick, if you go to Pull-a-Part in Charlotte to get the gate, would you mind pulling the mounting bolts off the blanks where the roof rack would be? They're T35 or T40, I can't remember which. I want to pull the rack off my '00 LX470, and I don't want to plug the holes with the long bolts used to mount the rack. Toyota used shorter ones as hole plugs, but they're not on the parts list (must have been a port installed part). I forgot to get them the last time I was there.

I'll make it worth your while ;)

Sorry man, my buddy went there yesterday but said the tailgate was rusted through

Sorry, I thought you wanted the lift gate. We may not be talking about the same truck; IIRC, the tailgate was gone long ago. And there was zero rust on this truck that I could see.

I'm searching for a good Charlotte area bodyshop that can repaint my '94 green hood. The clearcoat is nasty, but the paint and panel are in good shape. I plan to strip the extra bits and remove/reinstall it myself.

I used to take all my work to Town & Country, because the bodyshop manager and staff were excellent, but they've hired a new "master paint specialist" who knows so much more than you about painting that he doesn't need to listen to you when you tell him what you want. He actually told me he needed to match the faded paint on the body and had to charge extra for the effort.

I'm not worried about price, I only care about quality. Supposedly there is a really good custom/restoration shop somewhere in Charlotte, but I can't find it. I really don't want to deal with a shop that, like most of the industry, lives off of insurance claims.

You do have to match the faded paint color for a good partial repaint. If you're painting the whole truck, doesn't matter, but if you're only painting a panel or two, you have to match, or else you'll have a multicolor truck.

I follow you, but I told him I was planning to have the whole truck repainted next summer, and I just wanted to start with the hood. It's my daughter's truck and the nasty clearcoat irritates her becasue it's in her face teh whole time she's driving. I sympathize completely; she gets her OCD from me.

I have been happy with Carsmetics for several of my vehicles. They are not insurance claim type of place. Good reviews and nice staff.
Thanks, I'll talk to them this week and see where that takes me.

60s with a V8 swap, but keeping leaf springs and the proper width axles are where its at. Keeps the look, manners, and ruggedness of the 60 with the modern engine drivability.

Real easy to keep the wheels tucked with proper back spacing on the wheels. 60s on 80 frames sell for a lot more money, and that is why I am building them.

Time to pass on the Gaucho. Free to any member that can use it. Bought it new 5 years ago and it has been rode hard and put up wet LOL. Pretty sure it still functions but hasn’t been used much in a while. Located in Madison
