Oooh, it's by the guys who build this. I like this Power Wagon

$91,000
Here's why. From their site below the listing, "Be part of the lifestyle".
There not selling a truck, they're selling an image for those who want to break out their clothes from Fjallraven and play dress up.

It's the same reason Harley-Davidson can charge so much for a tractor motor and a paint job.

I looked at those long and hard.
The 4 wide, double tall, short version fits back of the 80 great. Saw one in charleston at a smoking deal but didnt realize it till i searched for one local and saw the prices, even used.

Weather guard is top of the line stuff. I've had 3 sets of saddle box and side boxes on my pickups over the years, never a problem.

That is crazy specific. Why such a specific ask?

Yes, you just tossed mike's old A343.

Nothing wrong with being particular.... its just shy of OCD which seems well embraced here :D

Figured as much :/ IH8MURPHY

Reason for the range:
Thats the range of production that has all the factory updated parts and improvement through the releases of TSB updates. From my understanding the First range is ideal.... second range needs minor mod to the throttle body pieces (which would give me a chance to up the line pressure) << typing that makes me winder if that would be enough

Reason for the ask:
Had instance of clutch slippage in reverse in the 80 only uder load (uphill in snow) Still seeing what is necessary but if its a swap thats easiest or cheapest then i want to source the best of the best

For the bored, interested, and OCD ...

A343F reverse noise

I still think its kinda ugly - is that a non-Toyota color? Love plaid, but looks bad to me in there. I think Harley's are ugly, too, so what do I know. What is Fjallraven? Have to Google that now. Seems I am 0-3 on this one :)

Made me laugh on this one - when in San Fran saw a really cool Fjallraven bag (I hadn't seen them before), good thing I passed on it - @RedHeadedStepChild would have mocked me, even if it was a ginger color toned bag.......

Gotcha, makes sense!!

If it makes you feel better, what started the removal of Mike's transmission was slippage in reverse uphill bad enough that it caused the truck to shudder.

Ha! As long as you were using it well and not just part of a costume, I'd be cool with it.

You know, it might be good stuff. I really can't say. It's the pose that drives me nuts (as evidenced by a 3rd post on this).
Look at this:

Yes. 5 speed manual would be outstanding. I want to put a manual in a 100 series.
