that thing is not worth $3k...rust...trashed interior...and lots of wire splices and backyard fixes in the engine bay visible. Steering column messed up....you sure this was not stolen or flooded? it is a project vehicle or parts vehicle only...but not sure how many parts are any good from looks.

Don't know the whole story. anyone can call Beth at (704) 663-5000 and find out more. I just be passing pics of what I see driving to and from. The wife worries of my rubbernecking all the time, so she drives and I am looking in all the fields and barns and any place these little bugger's hide.

Hey guys -
I mentioned at the meetup last night, but I am in the market for a 4runner for the wife.
This would be a primary tow vehicle for the camper and boat, when only using one; and my Cruiser would pull the camper while the 4runner pulled the boat when we were planning to use both on a camping outing.
I talked with @weejub a while back and I'm going with his recommendation, so here's what I'm looking for:
2008/2009 4Runner with the V8 and tow package (for 7350lb towing)
I'd like to have the Trail Package which comes with the locking rear diff, but that is purely wishlist.
I've been searching for a while locally, and this setup is needle in the haystack, so any tips you can provide would be greatly appreciated and respected.
Let me know of any leads you see.

Anyone in the market for a cheap RV? Kids are basically over RV camping - so I'm thinking a downsize is in order.

It's a 31 foot class C - 1997 gulfstream "conquest ultra limited edition" (not kidding. ) model M-6313 with a big slide out. Those of you that were at the Xmas party might have noticed it parked in the corner.

Not perfect by any means but most things work and it's only got 51k miles

Message me for more info if you're even just a bit interested.

Would entertain trades for smaller/newer pull behind campers or maybe other stuff. Figure it's a craigslist price of $10k OBO or a Mud price of 8500ish. Book value without the slide (they don't list the slide) is "low retail" of $10,385 and a "high retail" of $12,490. Adjusted due to cosmetic condition. She needs some cleaning up for sure.

Yeah I found those posts from May. Thanks for the tip. I missed those when they were posted since I haven't been on much since the beginning of May.
I'm not a huge fan of that barn door. It seems to be a big divider among 4r vs GX folks. There's also the concern about the longevity of the air suspension, but I like the idea of it. Availability seems to be a little better, but by just a fraction. There were 2 on Craigslist within 200 mi fitting my search criteria versus only one 4Runner (been posted for quite a while)
That being said--the wife loves the idea of the L on the grill. So we will see.

This is a perfect example of how over inflated the LC market is right now. I am constantly on the hunt for primarily 80s but also 60/62 and I also watch the 40 market as well. The 60/62 market has gone crazy in the past 18 months. Asking prices for a 60/62 has more than doubled in that time and now everyone thinks they have a Gem. The truck above is a beater and maybe $5-700 at best.

The up side is, there are quite a few $10K and above 60/62s that have been sitting well over a month.

About the air suspension, Joe figured out which springs will pop in right in place of the air suspension, and he may even have an extra set of custom rear springs to let go for it!!

Not saying you can eliminate the air suspension from the consideration list, but it's not as big of a deal with the above knowledge!

WTB: FJ40 2F oil pan

Looking for an oil pan for my 1978 FJ40 2F. I see you can order online OEM for $200 and might just go that route, but if someone had one cheap in the Raleigh area I may think about welding those skid plate weak points and power coating it all.

Please PM if you have one you'd be willing to sell.

I have two stock FJ40 wheels with hub cap clips. The wheels appear to be in good condition, but would definitely need to be sandblasted and painted. One wheel is riveted and one is welded.

Now that I have a tow rig, i need to get rid of the van. I had grand plans of pulling the motor and scrapping it but right now it just needs to be gone.

$200. 1991 G3500. Passed inspection this spring IIRC, runs well and stops great, could use shocks. Lots of rot. Good gopher truck. 18x,xxx miles. Clean title in hand.

If no one buys it I will take it to the scrap yard.

The 2009 with the rear locking diff is a tough one to find! That was the only year, I believe.

I'm guessing 7.4 but some 3500s came with the 5.7.
