Got out for my first group ride today. Through eastern Ouachita National Forest. Big group of about 20 rigs.
Yes, that is a Ford Taurus wagon.
No great views on this ride. So here’s the lake I stopped at to air back up in while getting snowed on.
This isn’t where my office is, but this is the HQ my employer started building right before Covid started. Has to be worst timing ever, but they are doubling down with the art. There is more inside, but this sculpture is new and was first time I’d seen it. It’s bigger in person, hard to capture in picture.

Found some friends at a Sunday morning coffee meet up with my local Toyota club.
Installed the aluminum BudBuilt skids yesterday. Didn’t take long in High mode and on some Race Ramps.
I’ll sleep better now knowing my cats are safe.
Skids looks good. Is there a piece that goes ahead of the skid to protect the radiator? I've always wondered what most do with that gap? Would seem like a spot to protect to avoid branches and other things inadvertently hitting the radiator?

A few of us went up to Mendocino National Forest this weekend. Great weather. Trails were in good shape except for the ~1000 trees down along the trail.

Took the Temple Bar back road to Greg’s Hideout.
I think the bumper skin would protect from any head on type impact.
These skids fit with an ARB, which I think would be ultimate protection for the radiator.
Did you get water inside on that crossing?

I stayed dry but I also didn't check under the carpet.

I didn’t. The doors are pretty well sealed. I‘d be surprised to get water intrusion during a crossing, unless it was a particularly long crossing. Even then, I’m not sure.
