Not much, but I got out to the lease today to make sure everything was good to go and fill the feeder. Anyone else using their 570 for a luxury hunting rig? Any tips? Already did front to back husky liners

I use my Lx for hunting. When we go north in Alaska up the haul road can’t take the camper (I leave it on the Elliott hwy before the dalton starts). I have husky liners like you. Also run one or two yakama rocket boxes and a hitch tray. Line the roof boxe(s) with a tarp for game bags and carry 10-20 gal of fuel on the hitch tray. Easily manageable for 3-4 nights camping and hauling out 2 caribu or 2 goat/sheep or 1 moose and lots of ptarmigan/grouse/water fowl.

that sounds like the trip of a lifetime!!! All I'll be doing is whitetail and hog for the time being!

Went on an adventure this weekend. Went the easy way to Crown King, AZ through Bumble Bee and checked out the town. I’ll do the hard way via Lake Pleasant after my MT sliders and BB rock armor arrives. From Crown King we took the fun way to Prescott. Wasn‘t bad, 4-high and 2nd/3rd gear made it a breeze. AllTrails recording here Senator Highway OHV Trail

Also did the Mingus Mountain trail. Narrow, lots of exposure, rocky, and beautiful. Only saw a handful other cars (all Rzrs) who started on the opposite side. Took a few side trails that looked nasty, the LX had zero problems and impressed the hell out of us. AllTrails link

Here‘s a fun video of the LX coming down a side trail on Mingus.

Be careful not to step in the mud with that white suit.

In the first world, the LX styling is a little gaudy. In the 4th world, it must look like a space ship to the normal people.

Just finished 2500 miles over 10 days most of it towing our camper. Some shots of the LX above the arctic circle on the Dalton, we had cold foot station to our selves for the required burger. Road was in the best summer shape I can remember, I was able to go 40-45 much of the time, only a few stretches on 10-15 miles that were ~20mph. That said I still noticed 3 vehicles with blown tires, and probably only saw ~20-30 over the 700 miles we traveled up there. Only time I got passed was (and I can’t make this up) was by a Prius... came up on me like I was standing still and was going >60mph easy, driving like they stole it.

What roof box is that? I am looking to get Yakima 18 for my 14 LX. Do you absolutely need the crossbars to clear the rear hatch spoiler when open?

Your pictures make me miss Alaska!!
