Hey. This is a little off topic, but I remember you had some pics from Mt Shasta. I wondered if you had any recommendations for trails and camping (preferably dispersed). I assume since its a NF that there should be a goodly number of FS road options, but I haven't found much written about the area.

@supercarrera that LX570 front bumper was made for SEMA truck show and is NOT available from CBI (so I just found out by phone)

That's a shame. It's easily my favorite bumper out there. It looks great on an LX.

Yes, I thought so too... well another option off the table... Hello Vendors !!
There is still a healthy interest in Lx front bumpers that don't look like oversized lower lip !! (ARB)

Nice sunset

We spent the week at Padre Island National Seashore. perfect time of year to do it with near zero beach traffic and great weather.

Holler at me the next time you come down to PINS. We go a few times every year, November to April is by far the best time to be down there, just make sure to keep a close eye on the tide. Also, if you want to shave a few hours off of your trip consider Matagorda as well, 21 miles of very similar beach front to drive on with possibly the best surf spot in the state. I live just minutes from the beach so I am always up for connecting with anyone who wants to hit the beach.

Snow run to the top of Yankee Hill playing with lots of other Toyotas. If there aren't pictures of me getting stuck it never happened right?

Nice! Did a winter trip about this same time last year in the LX570. Here's a shot of my old FJ probably about where your camera person is standing, albeit in the Spring time.

Love your tire and wheel setup. Even though the overall dimensions (33.8" x 11.2" vs 34.1" x 10.8") are very similar to what I am running it looks MUCH beefier.

Lots of Yotas in the photo, was this a Rising Sun trip or another local Toyota 4x4 group?

It was a Rising Sun trip. We had 23 vehicles show up, Tacomas and 80's were the majority with a few 4runners, 100's and 200's too.
