I was kidding about how the LX is rated with like 2 additional HP. Maybe 3.what additional power?

The LX has 2 more HP than the LCwhat additional power?
It looks like they extended the roof rails from my ‘13.With some handholding form other mudders (@ryanCA), I traded in my ‘16 LC for this ‘18 LX. Except for a hard sale on the paint protection and this mouse controller thing, it’s wonderful. Really loving all the additional power.
I’d like to downsize the wheels for some AT tires. I’m hoping a set of the turbine style 20’s or some 18’s from a land cruiser would be plug-and-play. Any advice would be great.

I ran Pole Hill, Loop 1, and Loop 2. This is up near Estes Park, CO
I really like the AHC. I can get plenty of lift when needed and then put it back in N and cruise down mountain roads or down the interstate in the mountains with ease. I haven't needed to do the sensor lift yet and not sure if I will.
Looks ready nowThanks for sharing all your trail pictures and making me jealous. Pole Hill is on my to do list, hope to hit it soon. My LX should be trail-ready in a week or two.View attachment 2074642
Looks ready nowDon't over think it.
Changed wheels, painted door handles, window trim and mirrors. Removed the trim panel from lower part of doors.

What size/brand tires are these? Are you using spacers? Any rubbing?
What size tires? I have a set of those icons ordered and am debating between 285/70’s and 285/75’s. Is this photo in low? Thanks for sharing all your trail pictures and making me jealous. Stunning! Did you go with Aluminum or Steel?I am picking up the truck from @benc this weekend. I'm incredibly stoked. @benc posted some images to IG and I have shamelessly swiped them to post (sorry Ben, I can't help but show off
The plan is to do front/rear bumpers and sliders, but I needed the truck for some fall trips so we finished up the bumpers and I'll take the truck back later in the winter to finish up the sliders. I'll post more pics after I pick it up and get it up on the trail.

They are Falken Wildpeak A/T3W LT285/75R17 121S E1 (34"). No rubbing in the back. No rubbering in front after removing mud flaps and moving the liner back. I'm happy with the size and that I have a matching spare that fits underneath. To me they just look like the right size for the large vehicle, especially with the 25mm offset of the Icon wheels. The only con I see is the weight. That previous photo was with AHC in low. What size tires? I have a set of those icons ordered and am debating between 285/70’s and 285/75’s. Is this photo in low?

Honestly
Honestly this is true. All I have are tires(285/60/R20 Wildpeaks) and its been amazing me what it can do with very little effort. I am fairly new to all this and I know the truck is more capable than I am. If you want to do Pole Hill in the future send me a PM and if I can I'll go with. I started going with a neighbor and having that second person with me was the best "mod" I have done.
