Picked up a set of Tundra 18s with some KO2s already mounted. These are part of my “Class IV Road” kit I’m putting together when we go exploring in VT and NH.

Really like the look of these tundra rims on the lx instead of the other alloy tundra rims you've seen other 200 owners swap in... I was looking into getting these but was told they are heavier than thr other oem tundra rims.... looking good....

^Wow, serious build. Can't wait to see the results.

Faceplate is on the factory mount from Yaesu with a custom bend to the bracket and wiring was run through the headliner after dropping the sunglasses console. The head unit is mounted to the back of the ARB drawers. I’ll likely mount mine the same and I’ll try to snap more pics of the process.

Clearly Greg is behind the infamous lifted LX from Instagram the other week. Whacko

Is that a tundra bracket lift?

I initially expected to be going down the route of another full tilt build. But after getting some miles in all I really find myself wanting is some better AT tires so I'm not worried about popping my Prius rubber on the trail. Bone stock it gets me everywhere I want to go and does it in total comfort on trail and during my commute the other 5 days of the week.
Same here.

I’ve had multiple 80 series and a 100 series before the 200, and I expected to have to do some mods to make it capable. It has handles amazingly on all kinds of terrain, and the various modes do work well, even if they are a little overkill.

In my opinion, the best addition to any cruiser is a set of BFG AT tires, at least here, out east. I can’t speak for other parts of the country/world with differing terrain.

It is tough to not want to go mod crazy, since you can make them better, but for me it ends up being a slipppery slope, and the rig ends up being more offroad friendly at the expense of day to day driving ease.

I want a set of rear drawers, step sliders and at least a front bumper, maybe rear too, but as soon as I do, I know the next step to handle that is upgrading the suspension, and better make sure you have a winch and a compressor...since you are doing the compressor, how about lockers, ut-oh, here we go again...

Or just keep it stock. :)

As enthusiasts this is always the risk. It's a slippery slope because usually each mod/accessory requires two more in it's place haha. I always say I will eventually keep one stock but that has never happened and if I am being honest with myself, that likely will never happen.
