Cole and Cody (plus both of your beautiful wives),

I cannot begin to tell you how much fun, comeradrie, and pure enjoyment I have had in my two LCDC trips (VIII & X). All four of you, I am sure, have sacrificed personal time over the years while also making a living, raising families, and being husbands. I know both of your wives have had to step up and handle issues while the two of you dedicated time and effort to each of the ten LCDC events. Please recognize that these sacrifices from the four of you do not go unnoticed.

I feel comfortable speaking for all attendees over the years and would like to thank you each from the bottom of our hearts. You have created a true group of friends through LCDC and we all appreciate it. Further, we have all become friends as well. I am also looking forward to future events that are the offspring of the great foundation you have built for us all.

Thanks again, and I certainly look forward to seeing you both on the trails!

Seconded. Completely agree.

Thank you both for all that you’ve done to establish such a strong, tightly-knit group of 200 series enthusiasts. You’ve provided the foundation needed for all future events by allowing the less experienced among us to learn from the veterans and for all of us to get a chance to meet and explore and grow in person.

For this I will be forever grateful!

Who is up for a long weekend of wheeling in New England/Upstate New York?🤠

Ditto. Thanks for the event and memories. I just got back to Syracuse. Left for home Friday night. Drove until midnight Saturday and got a hotel. Finished it on Sunday.

Blew second tire in Indiana on Saturday. Ugh.

Northeast wheeling ? I’m up for that.

Unlike Black Bear, Imogene, and others… I had to **cut my own trail** through THIS HERE “MIOUNTAIN” on the way home yesterday through Sedona…
And dang it if I didn’t CRUSH this thang quicker’n you can say “weight watchers”!
-Heck, I didn’t even need 4Lo or lockers!

I might be later this fall or next year, but my rig is stock so it would depend upon what you are doing.

Just watch Slee pickup their new LC250 and taco TRD pro. The LCDC X t-shirt looks great !!!
The 250 may be awesome Offroad, especially as a Dissent on 38s build, but after pulling my trailer home from Ouray I’d be hard pressed to believe a stock GX550 would handle nearly as well, Nevermind a 250 which has a lower towing capacity. I would be curious to throw my trailer on a modded 250 or GX550 and see what happens though…

FWIW Trailer was probably 6500-6600# with water and gear, LC is on 35s and around 7600-7700# (total 14,400#, with 8800# in the LC when hitched) and with 4.88s I was cruising 75+ most of the way. At times had to check myself before hitting the 81mph trails tire speed rating limit. I went up Vail pass at 55mph, passing other trucks pulling trailers and semis. Acceleration always happens though it can take a little while to build speed above 70, but just cruising along it’s easy to forget the trailer is behind me.

We can very easily accommodate.

Some of my best “offroading” in New England has been about seeing the foliage, camping near some of the historic farm towns, getting in a bit of the mud, it’s honestly beautiful but not necessarily too challenging.

Cool. Why don't you start a new thread for it?

Just a minor note that we sent out an email directly to people who did not pick up their t-shirts during the event. This includes people who ordered shirts but ended up not being able to make the event. Please review the email and reply when you have a chance.

Any chance attendees being able to order a hat?

Good question. This was the first year that we created hats as trail leader gifts. They turned out pretty nice so maybe we can do another run of them for old times sake. We made just enough for the leaders in this first run.

I'll look into it once we get everything reconciled for LCDC X.

Just finished edits on the Alpine Loop 31 July 0900 group. Sorry it took a while, internet was out at the house for a solid 5 days or so.

Just wanted to say thanks for letting my son take pics of all the 200 series out in Silverton / Animas Forks last week, hopefully I'll get a LC in the next year or so. It's hard to judge what car to get right now as I have two up and coming new drivers.

Hey @wolfmann I remember that. I thought that was so cool that your son was excited about Land Cruisers at a young age like that. Hope he got some great pics and hope to see you in a 200 soon and on this forum more.

I'll post some more details in my build thread, but here are a few that summarize the trails we did including but not limited to:

Pre-run: Black Bear
Day 1: Poughkeepsie + Corkscrew
Day 2: Black Bear, Brown Dog, and Last Dollar
Day 3: US Basin and Brown Mountain + Porphyry Gulch
Post-run: Imogene

We missed Ophir, Alpine Loop, Stony, and the spur trails off of CR2 and Gladstone road. The one-year old did well on the trails.
