36 people (excluding myself and Yashica) have posted to the "Introduce Yourself"
thread so far. I'm hoping that many of you who posted an intro and nothing more
are still lurking. If so, please feel free to speak up.

The question gets asked, whenever a few of us are together, of what to do next.
I had always hoped that that question would be answered on this forum, with the
most participation from all over the state. But I also realize there is just no good
substitute for face to face discussion.

So, in the interest of making both sides of this coin come together, I've started
this sticky thread.

We here in the Valley of the Sun have planned a gathering at Sonic Drive In for
the 20th of Aug. When the question of what to do next inevitably comes up, I
would like it o be discussed. But since this is an AZ club, and not a PHX club, I
would like to have as much input as possible, ahead of time, from those of you
who are interested, but don't live near Tempe.

I therefor turn this thread over to you. Make any suggestions. Request anything
you want. We will discuss whatever you put forth. And I, and doubtless others,
will report back on the results.

Also, I encourage those of you in other parts of the state to get together and do
the same.

Thanks Jonathan for putting this sticky up

Request (1) A new name/concept for this org.

Request (2) Actually writing out bylaws-policy and goals (long & short term)

Request (3) Discussing what the first sponsored event would be, where and why

Request (4) How to bring solidarity to this org even tho we are spread through out the state

check the sonic thread

How about that website so we can get some secure discussions going.

As acting President of our fine organization I would like to make a suggestion. CSC business cards. Not really business cards per-se but Cards that have our logo and club contact info including the web addy and such. Also a statement on the back with something to the effect of "You've just been helped by a member of the "COPPER STATE CRUISERS". They'll be great for handing out to J**pers. Not to mention prospective members.

Great Idea.... since I am never actually in AZ, and as a virtual member :) Let me know if you would like me to crank out something nice for the org

Don't woryy DD you're slowly becoming the official un-official CSC graphic artist. Hopefully you'll be able to catch one of our Cruiser Cruises one month.

What part of AZ are you in... when you're here? If you were to fly into Phx on say a Friday afternoon I could pick you up at Skyharbor (I work right around the corner) and head straight to the Cruise from there. Just throwin out options.

That is so bloddy cool of you. I live up in Sedona.

I travel to either the Monterey Bay area or San Diego CA for my work.

I may have to take you up on that , or try and re-shift my work schedule for the rest of this year:)

Thanks Bman!

BTW out of the five vehicles listed which one do you drive?

I drive the Taco as a daily. The 40 is my wheelin rig and the 60 will be my daily once the Smallblock swap is done. The Taco will then get sold. My wife daileys our 04 Sequoia. I'm kinda a Toy nut. That and Volkswagens will be the death of me.

We need a membership officer. Any volunteers? I can do it but would like to keep membership very organized and this could potentially be a big deal. You would need to keep a club roster and also track who has outstanding dues. You would be in charge of getting club membership "packets" out o new members and reminding them to pay their dues...etc...etc...

CSC web site

I have the site started but need content to add to it. It will be going up as soon as the DNS has been changed over. If anyone wants there bio on the members page I could use a pic of your ride and a short comment on who you are. Also any links to sites you think should go in the link page would help as I have been out of the loop for awhile.

The club e-mails are not going to be avalible till the DNS resolves so sent anything you have to me at kyle@trailertrashaerospace.com for now or PM me here.

Kevin (Tools R Us) has some pictures from the Crown King run and I put them up but if anyone else took any they want to shair let me know.

Happy Wheeling

Kyle
