Are there details on the dates and specifics for each of the trail runs? I can't seem to find them on the website??

How many trucks in each of the run groups?

Go to Rubithon.com and the registration from itself has all of the details of dates, times leaders and wheather they are camping on the way in or not. As far as numbers, we try to keep all the runs under 30 rigs and so far this year doesn't look to be an issue. But either way, the more people on the run, the more committee members on the run will be there for support. We try to keep it 5 people per committee on the runs. The Leads are awesome and will make sure you are taken care of. All we ask is that people are honest with themselves.... should your rig be on the trail or do you know you have issues that should be fixed at home before you come :)

Is Sean the guy I saw at Frolic in Hollister last weekend who drove the new obstacle course in a bobbed, exoed, linked, turboed 4 runner?

I'm not sure about the bobbed and turbo, but he was doing the new obstacle course. His rig has Comerson's Toy Shop on it. He is the one that won the RTI ramp.

Very easy going and incredibly capable wheeler. We are glad to have him on board with Pete this year. Great guy to know!

Looking forward to it as well Doug. I remember Michelle's boot, that is exactly what I have right now. It's my left (clutch) foot so it won't get used much crawling.

Ed, you going to be able to make it this year sir?

Working on my rig and not betting the $150+ against the $25 late reg fee that it's going to be running well enough to make it. It was "done" and I started it yesterday and it runs like crap. I think I'm going to have to pull it all apart again and get the manifolds surfaced. I thought they were good enough. I've got 5 weekends...

WoooHooo!!!! I'm clear, and I'm coming. Hope you can make it Eddy, had fun meeting you at the surf n turf this year, rolling the college boy's jeep back over. Maybe you could hitch a ride. I know it's not the same, but it's worth the company. Had a great time reading the rubithon blog. Made my 1st rubithon in 89 in my then stock (H7815) FJ40, and entertained everyone with the need for my accelerator. I look forward to seeing (and meeting) everyone. I'll bring my usual supply of IV's, suture material and meds.

This is the earliest my rig has been 100% ready for Rubithon. Maybe because my surgery is next Tuesday, and will be hard to wrench with arm immobilized

Keep your head up and get that sucker done!

I picked up front and rear bumpers for my 62 from Luke at 4x4 Labs. Has some excellent items there and he's in Grass Valley. Great group there.
I've had 2 different hi steer kits from Luke, and you're right, he's a great guy to work with. He will come up with a solution to your problem.

We have to place our meat order the morning of May 29th. If you want to ensure you have the meals, have your registrations online by the evening of May 28th.

The last day to get the registration in and have your shirt for you at the event is May 31st. Any received on or after June 1st, may have to be mailed out after the event.

I'm on my way out to have my shoulder surgery now. If you have any questions or issues, please email them to chairman (at) rubithon (dot) com

Please be patient if if takes a couple of days for me to get back to you. As soon as I can get back on the computer, I will respond!

See you all in a few weeks!

I've explained my situation to Eric, so here we go!

I did have someone to be part of my trail committee. About two weeks ago he decided to ride his little mini-trail bike in something less that boots. A big bump and ending up on the wrong side of the foot peg did the rest - 5 broken foot bones and a fracture IN one of the toe joints on his right foot. (Must be something in the water :meh:).

Right now it's a pretty small run and I think only need one person.

So, if you know the Rubicon Trail, are interested in a few perks, have a HAM radio, are good with people, and like herding cats, drop me a line (used to be a PM, now it's a conversation .)

OOPS! It's the TUESDAY RUN

Thanks

Please remember the last day to get your registration to me in time to ensure you get shirts in the Springs is June 1st. Postmark won't be enough for that, sorry.

Any registrations after June 1st will most likely have to be mailed out after the event.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks!

Getting excited!! Got my rear bumper (did a rear winch too), got a new 12k winch up front, installed slees belly pan skidplate, and have sliders ordered. Should be here next week and then I am good to go! Fender flares are off too.

Congrats to Cathy Stonehill! She is the May winner of an extra grand prize raffle ticket!
