OEM Winch mount (factory winch) Does anyone have any pictures of just the mount?

I didn't even know there was a factory winch option - I take it that was a state-side option.

nope not avaiable here, mainly an option in Asain countries from what I have seen.

yeah there are alot of cool options we didnt get here, search on the terms "switchs" "what goes here" and factory options - some of the items are really well thought out but very pricey to add (as Cdan says for converting to his roof/ceiling mounted compass) the winch mount would be a simple one to duplicate and fab up at my shop but I need a general idea of what it loks like ( I could do one using the existing holes for it on my own, but some guidance would be nice!;) )

the factory bumper will be modified to accomadate the fairlead (right about where the license plate goes)

Try a PM to Prossett If I remember his 80 has the factory setup and he was looking for a winch to put in the hole.

Electric winch mount

Or, just call cruiserdan with the part number for the whole assembly... ;)

I can't tell which is PTO and which is electric.

I have the same winch setup shown in harveya's post. However, got couple of questions:

What is this item (circled in red in PicA). I don't seem to have this - only the winch controller cable).

On second picB (circled again in red), I have this part - what goes here and what is it used for? Looks like a lever. Do I need to use this to operate the the winch? Or the cable controller is enough?

thanks for the pics...... thats what I was looking for.

the top pic is the PTO I believe. the bottom one is the electric (see the Motor)

Much appreciated,

LOL - I labeled the diagrams correctly, but in my suggested joke to call cruiserdan with a part number for the entire winch assembly, I didn't know which part number applied to which type of winch - they both have the same PNC

G'luck with your build.

There is no power take off with the HF2AV case. Electric is the only option unless the manual tranny had a different t-case with a pto output.

the US HF2AV does have a rear facing PTO output, Dan recently stated there is an oversea's version that also has a forward PTO output where ours just has a blank casting.

Where can you get one? Been trying but no luck.

Have one for sale. But I think shipping from Japan would kill the deal. PM me if interested.

Cheers,

Landcrusher 80

how much? if it is under 50 pounds I can pick it up for free.

Just got back - I'm afraid I can't help with the mounts since they are not on my truck - iif you like, I could easily measure where the mounts should fit onto the frame, though.

Sorry I'm a bit late and didn't actually bring anything to the table.. :o
