Odometer (1 Viewer)

My Odometer no longer works. Has anyone had any experience in repairing, replacing an odometer. As far as I know the cable is hooked up properly, but the odometer does not travel. This is on an 82 FJ40.

Appriceate any help.

I had the same problem and I found a fix on the net which basically involved striping it all down and cleaning, but sorry I cant remember the site....Dazz

if that doesn't work I would think a spedometer shop could repair it. Or maybe you can get the oddo parts new from the dealer. Prolly not much chance finding used as the 81-83 are the only years they went to 999999.9.
