So I may be buying an fzj80 in California (Near San Diego) and I live in Durango, CO. I will be driving it back if I pull the trigger on it.

One of my first priorities (besides re-gearing) will be an ARB Bullbar front bumper. I would like to save the shipping costs by picking it up from somewhere on my way back.

I'll be running the I40 until I get to Gallup, NM

Can any of you guys think of somewhere that would carry one of those, or order one in ahead of time so I pick it up and save? Most notable city on this route would obviously be Flagstaff (unless you are a huge Eagles fan, at which point most notable would be Winslow---I bet you guys NEVER get tired of that lil knee slapper)

I know I could do a blind Interweb search but I'm looking for vendors that deserve the biz that I can drive past on the way back (generally)

I guess I could take the 10 and go through Phoenix/Mesa

I don't think any shops in the PHX area carry the ARB POS. Some, Desert Rat, 4 Wheel Parts, etc, can order them. As far as Cruiser suppliers go, your best bets are Man-it-aint-free or SOR in LA or Slee in CO.

Take your time and find a better bumper. Unless you have to plow through hords of kangaroos, that is.

Hey, as long as you know what you're getting and aren't just buying the hype, go for it.

Kurt (cruiseroutfitters) is in the Salt Lake City area.....

If you want to swing through Mesa, you can order one from Wil at Sierra Expeditions and pick it up at his place. He's at Guadalupe and Crismon. Easy freeway access so it's not too bad to get in and out of there quickly. It's the far east side of the Phx metro area but its a nice detour if you cant find anyone else. He goes by FlyingWil here on Mud. Or you can hit him up on his site SierraExpeditions.com

Why would you say that? Two people told him that they thought there was better bumpers available and two people gave hime options to for place to purchase them. Seems pretty tame compared to some of the other s*** talking that's happened around here lately.

You should post up some details and pics of this "Razorback" Cruiser...

I'd imagine there were Cruisers that were more local to you than Arkansas. Were you searching for something unique like a locked 40th anniversary, or?

Inquiring minds would like to know :hhmm:
