weird noise coming from front end when I turn the wheel. Theres no shaking in steering wheel just the noise when I turn. Noise is like constant popping sound throw the whole turn. Might be a cv joint problem maybe not sure. Any help would be great thanks!

Are you driving in 4 hi, front hubs locked, dry pavement, slow tight turns?
If so, consider it normal, unlock the hubs, and get in 2 wheel drive.
HTH

If you can, take a small video for us and post up here. But like everyone else is saying, could be time for a knuckle rebuild or could be u-joints in the steering that are going out or in the drivelines.

I'll try to do the video but i don't know if the noise is loud enough to hear on audio

Knuckles, rite of passage for every true Cruiser owner.
Cruiser Outfitters were the source for my latest rebuild, be on the vendors page.

Ok that's what I thought. Now should I go with stock birf? I only run 33's on my fj and I plan on running 35's soon and I heard they tend to weaken with bigger wheel size

Up to you, Longfields are a stronger option, but I'm not sure they are still available? Cro-moly aftermarkets?

More details:

Do the tires have to be spinning to create the noise? Or is this sound created when the car is stopped and you crank the steering wheel from one side to the next.. Like when parallel parking?

Sometimes when you are in 4 wheel drive and the hubs locked in you may hear a noise from the leaf springs on dry pavement but you are not locked in as you mentioned. Have you looked at your leaf springs?

It happens when tires spin and as well as parked. And in reverse

Leafs are in great shape. Just got regreased less than a couple months ago. There's no rust on them at all but I do notice that the birf seals may be leaking because there's quite a bit of build up around them

Birf Soup, it's whats for lunch.... :hillbilly:
