I’m in for a set.

Correction. I’m in for 3 sets.

if they will be available id like to put something in that space as well, even tho no soft top it still looks unfinished

Looking up the FJ73 vin in partsouq...it looks like the part is spec as "waterproof". Example below for wiper switch. Can't get any pics of the stalks new as all of that stuff seems to be NLA.

you know if the water level is @ that point inside the cabin? not sure those are going to keep that area water proof? just saying.

True. I guess it serves its purpose in reality more as a dust boot. I didn’t pay much attention to those at the time when I owned the FJ73 so I can’t comment just how water tight they appear to be.

but, but the factory SAYS waterproof ;)

really though, just rain spray, and lightly at that i suppose, i mean any rain water is just going to run down the column cover and drench the wiring anyway, i just want to trim the column

@FJ73Texas one for the actual soft top, one for the 79, one for the shelf.

If @bhicks is gonna take the time I want to support him.

Are we certain that the hole measurements are the same between soft top and hard top?

The plastic column clamshells are absolutely different, just based on the different hazard switch at the top alone.

If somebody has a soft top, please measure the rectangular stalk holes.

thats a good point, however i want to trim my rocker hazard style column and i think most of us have that style?

Have to consider LHD vs RHD differences too. No idea if that makes a difference.

True.

I guess the soft top dimensions don't even matter, because they would already have the covers anyways.

@RHINO did you get your photo from the FJ73 I had? It resides in Payson area now last time I checked but I haven’t spoken to the current owner in awhile now. He isn’t that active on mud it seems like.
