OBD Port Fix (3 Viewers)

Trying to hook a scanner up but OBD port is pushed in. Any ideas how to fix? Thanks

Drop the panel above the pedals (very easy), push the connector back into the holder?
 
You may also want to verify the dealer didn't install an aftermarket jumper / extension which tends to not clip in well and can be pushed out like this easily.

yep, did it earlier this AM. There are two tabs you press to release the panel.

Interesting. Would that change the configuration of the obd2 scanner connection as it seems my scanner won’t attach. Thanks

Ohhhh... Good point. There's a guy in CA now suing a dealer for installing a GPS tracking device in his new GR Corolla in this manner, without telling him.

Yes, it's just clips that hold the port in. They do hold the OEM receptical tightly.
