Located in the South Bronx, truck is in storage at a manufacturing facility. I originally bought this truck as a repair project - then decided it was:

a) too rusty
b) too automatic

and bought an FJ60 instead. It's one of those used vehicles that seems to need one of everything, but I still think its worth saving.

The good news:

-Motor is very healthy, fires right up. Idles solid, runs smooth. Recent dizzy, wires, plugs / valve cover gasket / PCV. No check engine lights
-Starter is about a year old, alt is fairly recent too
-New gas tank under warranty about a year back
-Tires are decent, shocks / brakes about 2 years old
-AC is super cold. Meat locker cold.
-Reasonably low mileage - 160k
-Great stereo - Alpine head unit and Pioneer speakers
-4wd works perfect
-A few mods: Hella H4 lights, tuffy box, Class III hitch, Thule rack

The bad news:

-Truck is rusty... especially in the rockers and quarters. The frame is mostly solid, there are a couple places where I would consider repair - one spot about 1" long ahead of the front ds leaf, and another in the back about 2 spots each 1" near the bumper mounts. Quoted $150 locally to repair.
-Automatic needs the kickdown service performed.
-Steering dampener is totally shot
-Missing interior pieces, smashed driver's mirror
-Torn bolster on drivers' seat
-Front axles seals are leaky... not that bad just yet
-Major exhaust leak ahead of cat

I have some spares I may be able to get my hands on including a same color passenger door and fender. Feel to ask any questions!

I put a sign on my FJ60 in NYC and sold it in 2 weeks. Park it in Williamsburg or Greenpoint. I saw an FJ55 at McCarren park yesterday and 2 FJ60's in the same neighborhood. When I drove by Brooklyn Bowl last night one of the guys outside said he has a 62, too. People love them around there. Someone will snatch it up for that price

That's a great idea, but I don't have plates for it. :(

BTW... I think I drove by your cruser the other day, parked off McGuiness?

Oohh I see. Too bad. I don't think it was me because I'm living in Queens now :/ but very cool if there is yet another cruiser around

Hey, McGuiness is close to Queens, I thought maybe you came over to the cool side. ;)

I guess the cruisers are multiplying!

Haha! True. I lived there for 7 years then moved to queens to save money. Queens sucks. I'm moving back to Brooklyn asap. Maybe even near the Morgan stop. See you around! I want to see that 60

Nice, that would be great to have another Cruiserhead in the neighborhood. I'm actually looking at new places by Morgan too, let me know if you need to know anything.

I'm in Williamsburg near the park... seen a few 60's around, one blue, one brown... Someone would certainly buy it in this area.

I unload quite a few 70's Honda CB's and mopeds around here...

Good luck

Yea, unfortunately I don't have plates for this rig so I'm not sure leaving it on the street is smart.

Sending you a PM about bikes, though!
