Hello land cruiser friends,

Since in Portugal we don´t have a so bigger foruns and groups to help us, and, after many searches in the internet for a overhead console that fits my needs with no luck, I decided to bild one for may BJ40.

I need:

1: To put my CB radio
2: To put my normal radio
3: Put a pair of speakers
4: include some utility gadjets (watch/Lights/usb ports).

Let´s see what have come out!

ok, not finished yet

I´ve started making the mould:

Then, in a 2mm steel plate, I have traced and cut...

I make an acad layout and cut all the holes (too much work, I would go for a plasma cut write now)

After some adjust, have make all the connections and then aplied the layer ...

Still need the USB ports, the lights and the Clock. I´m waiting for the orders to arrive...

At this point, I was waiting for a new rear-view mirror. I have applied it already and also the usb ports (hidden in the platform holles to charge the phone when I´m not in the car ). I have the BJ40 in a garage a bit far from my house, so I cannot take any photos now. As soon as I can I post some in here and also some others.
