Gday folks,

First time posting a question on here, I’ve just finished replacing my injectors and doing a compression test on a 1HDT 92’ 80.
I am about to put my nozzle leakage pipe back on, I’ve noticed the hollow bolts only have a hole on one side, for the first and last cylinder it’s obvious which direction the hollow hole needs to face but what direction does 2,3,4 and 5 face?
Especially with cylinder 2 having 3 potential directions

Apologies if this is a very obvious solution.

I’ve added a photo below to show what I mean.

This is the nozzle leakage pipe.

Images of the hollow bolts I’m talking about

Example of cylinder 2 nozzle leakage pipe there is a third hole not seen in this angle

Example of cylinder 4 nozzle leakage (one hole goes in one direction and another goes from the opposite side)

Thanks for your help.

Orientation is not important, but you need to fit with a new set of spill off pipe washers.

For info, this style of bolt is called "banjo bolt"

Thank you mate really appreciate that, is the orientation not important because they have a valley groove? (Just for my understanding of how they work)

Wouldn’t happen to have a part number for it, I’ve now been to three seperate dedicated bolt washer and fastener stores in South Australia and none of them had anything close to what I needed!

Thanks again

Found them on partsouq for future reference:

Part number: 9020108106
Part code: 23627B
$0.68 USD each

Thanks

There's clearance around the bolt in that centre cavity you drop them into.. the fluid can swish around in that so the orientation is not important.

You dont need to replace the bolts do you? They look fine.. you just need new specialist washers, they'll be readily available in Australia... any good diesel shop could sort you out.. Where in South Australia are you? Down south of Adelaide I get my stuff from D&C Fuel Injection at Hackham.

Thanks mate appreciate it a lot!
Bolts are fine, but I’ve been to classic fasteners on grange rd, united fasteners in wingfield, industrial tools and also tried repco and super cheap with no luck, ill keep them in mind next time.
I ended up ordering them on partsouq.

Cheers mate
