I suggest disconnecting the battery if it is going to sit for more than a few weeks or as suggested get a trickle charger.

We loaded up the LC last week and headed south before s*** got crazy in Cincinnati. Base of operations is a condo in an undisclosed coastal location until further notice. Plenty of food and whiskey to last a couple of weeks but sunscreen is starting to run low. Might have to venture out to scavenge/pillage some later.

I'm pulling a cargo trailer from CA to AR next week. The first stage of my move out of California. Still proceeding with those plans, despite the crazy times.
Even though we give people from AR a lot of crap, it is such a beautiful state especially around Mena and the NW part of the state. Plus the State parks don't charge a fee and people don't care if you are missing teeth 😁

Super nice people, too.

Like others, I've been amassing maintenance tasks and household chores. I've got a timing belt job on my son's car that I had been dreading, but now I'm kinda looking forward to it.

Of course, as a hardcore introvert, I've been practicing social distancing for as long as I can remember. :moon:

If the recent facts are right, then social distancing is NOT enough. Coronavirus stays in air for hours and on hard surfaces for DAYS.

Covid-19 can stay on surfaces for days. Social distancing is indeed not enough. We need a national minimum 14 day shutdown where everyone stays at home, everyone, no buts and no exceptions. Everything else is just a patch bandaid.

Otherwise my epidemiology background tells me all this crap we are going through is all for not and will cause quantifiable more economic harm than physical. Let the virus ride its course and allow people to get on with their lives. One cannot stop mother nature. Herd immunity is best.

Oh believe me, I've heard it all. I moved to CA in 2000 to get into the tech industry. I've caught endless s*** from family and friends in AR for moving to CA. Now I'm going to have to convince my new neighbors that I'm good people, with my California plates and all... Ah well, it could be worse. They could call me "Hollywood" like they do a friend of mine with a similar story, but from Alabama.

Well the wife and I think we had it last week? Low grade fever, sore throat and dry cough. No doctor anywhere would test us at all or even see us. They said self quarantine for 7 days after your fever breaks if you get really bad call the hospital before you arrive. Tomorrow will be day 10 Friday day 11. <NYC here and more people have it than reported. I say this only because they are not doing any testing unless you are dying, NBA player, cop, fireman or EMT and half my friends and coworkers are in the same boat. all still alive a few said its like the flu but most just a mild fever and dry cough thank god. ages 30-70> So we are past the infection stage and heading up north into VT to a remote location for a 5 day weekend. To be on the safe side we will not make any contact with anyone besides the gas pump paid with a CC. Stay safe and smart. Remember. It puts the Purell on its skin or else it gets the hose again. And I'm with Docboy above. This just needs to run it's coarse come hell or high water. Let nature run it's thing. Trying to stop this is like putting a finger in a damn that started to leak.

Please stay home, VT already has enough cases brought here by people visiting from other states.

Same thing here. Started about a week ago, my skin felt warm for a few days almost as if I spent time in the sun. But no measurable fever. Then the dry cough started, body aches, and now a night time sore throat. I'll have a good day and then a bad day. Michigan is testing 100 people/day, so no way in hell they're testing me, an otherwise healthy guy in his late 40s. it's very surreal.

Pretty sure it’s a joke. Did you read the other test results?

Nice!

Curious to know, did you present with any signs or symptoms prior to the test?

Was it a drive through test? How long did it take for you to find out the results?

on a more serious note, I am in self quarantine. My test is still pending. I have fever, bad sore throat, and mild cough. I had my swab Sunday. Still waiting for result. 😠 Oh flu and strep negative.

I am not a doctor, but like many I heard this in WhatsApp and other rumor Mills:. A Korean doctor suggesting this simple test to see whether your lungs are infected or not is: to take a deep breath and hold it for 10 seconds or more. If you can successfully do if on a daily basis, you are good..do this if you feel you have the symptoms. By the way, it is this time of the year that everyone gets those cold, cough, sore throat symptoms.

It's obvious for the folks on this forum to be extra cautious - since they took the first step of buying an LC/LX in anticipation of an apocalypse...sorry pun intended!
