Nov Meeting?

Sorry, we missed last meeting. Has the time & location been resolved for this Saturday's meeting, or is it going to be rolled back a week or so? I've not done a Puerco run and I want to make sure the stock taco isn't going to be a hinderance if I can make it. Hope to see ya'll Sat.!

Dave -

About your question on the Puerco and your Tacoma, I think it should be fine. There's a lot of optional obstacles in the Puerco and I'm not sure how much of that stuff we'll be tackling in the dark. We'll see what ideas others have, but I think it should be OK for you.

Stock trucks should do fine in the Puerco for the night run. If we want to mess around on the rocks the stock trucks can sit and watch and still participate on the main run without problem.

We will be missing the November meeting. HS football again this Friday night. I vote for the weekend of Dec 8th for the Christmas Tree run; preferably on a Saturday even if we pick another weekend.

It would be good to get a Treasurer's report (outstanding dues, etc.) and post the meeting minutes along with a member count and account balance.

Has anyone called Jack and Larry since they don't do computers?

6:30 or any time is great. we usually go 'till about 9 or so, sometimes longer if the conversation is especially good or we are looking at trucks.

a dish to pass and your own drinks should have you covered. i'll see if Skipper will be here for a treasurers report. i have not called Jack or Larry and am leaving the house in a few minutes and won't be back 'till this evening. can you call them Mike? they should be on the phone list i sent out.

I had every intention of going to the meeting, but...



I got a call from a really good friend. He tells me that he came home to find two guys had kicked in his door, and were still there! The bastards got a way though. We had to deal with the aftermath. They had kicked in the front door (its an older house in the UNM area). So I was at his house until 12 last night, installing a new front door.

Same here, I have a friend who heard someone outside and then the choppers flying around. A single mom with two daughters (4 & 10) is not good to have with a sliding glass door that has not locked for 3 years and no lighting when she drives up at night. I put a lock in the door and also wiring in motion lights for her. I figured her safety was more important!
