10K OBO -- 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80 10,000 OBO
Finally time to part with my beloved 80 Series. While it pains me to see it go, I just don't have room or need two Large SUVs. So here we go. 1997 FZJ80, the best utility truck ever made. This Land Cruiser has been very well cared for. Cold AC. Fresh oil changes using Rotella T6 every 3-5k miles. All fluids otherwise drained yearly and refilled (front and rear axles, transmission, transfer case, coolant). The cooling system has been gone through, flushed and hoses replaced, along with heater control valve. Always filled with Toyota coolant. Pesky heater hose replaced and bypassed. Rear heater bypassed and removed (common as they are a failure point on these trucks). Fan clutch drained and refilled with new oil, roars, and moves A LOT of air. The front axle has been completely rebuilt; new seals, all new Japanese bearings, new 3rd member gasket, new rotors, new pads the list goes on. Center diff lock switch installed for use in high range. The truck has an Old Man Emu Medium duty lift with a small spacer up front as well so as to get the truck to sit level. Front control arms have aftermarket bushings as to correct caster. 285/75/16 BFG KO2 AT tires on all 4 corners with a full-size matching spare, LOTS of life left on tires. Has certificates from discount tire for hazard protection (on all 5) and rotated on the proper schedule. New head unit put in to allow for CDs and blue tooth streaming of music and phone calls. Custom built platform for cargo area that can be folded down or taken out completely, secures to the factory tie down hooks in the cab. Full roof rack with HiLift jack and shovel mounted (will include jack and shovel for a little extra if wanted). Valve cover gasket has been replaced along with spark plug gaskets last year. Leather seats are in decent shape, drivers side has a tear along a seam but could probably be fixed, or new leather can be bought for a reasonable price. I have seat covers on both front seats so as to keep them from getting any worse currently. 3rd row is removed, but have them if wanted. Typical faded paint found on most of these Land Cruisers. Aside from those 2 issues, this truck runs and drives like a champ and has NEVER left me stranded or stuck. I have taken this car from SoCal, deep into Baja, and back up North all through the Sierras, Death Valley, Arizona etc...It goes anywhere you want it to. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like more photos or info.
