Took the cruiser today to work and broke down. Got it back up and running (stupid air flow sensor) and limped it in with my hand throttle.

Went to Manafre in the company vehicle and ran over a ladder in the freeway! Im lucky to be alive! Thank god it was fiberglass! Thing flew out from the guy in front of me and i swerved but still hit it.

What a day!

Did you get the guys plate number? He is liable for not securing it properly. Sorry to hear this.
I hit an 18 wheeler tire tread once in a lowered S-10. ripped off my front valance and because I swerved it came up and slapped the side of the truck. So I got my door handles shaved on insurance.

It was actually the jackass that was in front of him. Thank god.. cause the guy in front of me had a fully loaded horse trailer. Didn't have time to get any information and the truck and I are fine. Thank goodness.

Freakin idiots that just throw their stuff in the back and don't secure it, .....it just . Glad you are OK.

Shiat - I'm more concerned with the cruiser not running than Dave! :flipoff2: She must be tired from all that extra weight. :D

Just kidding Dave. Glad you're ok. Freeway hazards can be a bite in the ass. Cracked lots of plastic under my Porsche because of a tire tread. Ins. said it would count as an accident and not road hazard since it was lying on the freeway and not airborne. WTF. No way to avoid it.

you went to "Man-it-aint" free? WTF?

glad your'e still with us. so how'd you figure it to be the sensor?

Yeah for the dual swingouts. Kind of hard to go somewhere else and buy it since they're the last pair in the USA ;)

Eh..... cause i probably shouldn't have cleaned it like i did :( I have a line on a new one for $100. on the way.

Dave - Glad youre okay.

Isnt the air flow sensor located under the drivers seat? :D

Fortunately my Ins. guy gave me the Iggy and told me when I called the claims dept. to make sure that I specify that it shot out in front of me from traffic ahead of me. Could have happened that way all I know is that I turned back to the road from checking my blind spot to change lanes and a huge tread was lying in the road.

Tire treads I can deal with but ladders and couches just piss me off. One other time I had to move for a refrigerator box. Not sure if it was full but glad I didn't have to find out!!!! I think I was in my 87 Supra Turbo for that one.....

Kaymar doesn't make a dual tire carrier for the FJC yet. Im safe for now. LOL

Stan's got a very sweet Warn rear bumper. No idea about tire carriers on it.

Warn decided against swing outs. For at least now. Yep, its a good looking bumper for sure. I like it. Actually saw one on the road this AM.

The Kaymar FJC bumper actually has a gas can and single tire carrier.
