Whenever we've listed red brick of landscaping brick it's practically gone before the "ink is dry". Twenty people have responded to the add begging to haul away the pile. It's way easier/cheaper than paying to dump it somewhere.
Still not the point 🤣

I'm waiting for buddy who wants my windows or my saw, or my router or whatever... and is going to send his movers to pick them up and pay me later...

Then I'm going to have his movers take a pallet full of boxes full of s***...

I forget who I was talking to about it, but this is the rainwater grant thing for Nanaimo.
You apply early in the year and they give you x months to finish. 8 I think?
We did it a few years ago. Paid for a big chunk of the cistern. Just spent a couple days pressure washing and didn't have to abuse the well pump.

Other areas do the same I'm sure.

Handy thing to have. I can use a small generator and a double ended garden hose to charge the house and flush toilets when the powers out for a few days.

Got a pad mostly built for a reservoir a few years ago, just haven't gotten around to getting a tank yet. Couldn't find anything for subsidies in my area, guess i might not of looked hard enough!

It's kinda funny, every year when it snows, an email goes out at work to everyone that "VI Toyota 4x4" club is offering rides for staff when it snows.

And every year, " No. I'm not in that club, and no, I'm not driving you to Shawnigan"

Wasn't even 9am yet today, that's a new record.

You should order a ride... With the price of fuel a free ride could be worth it 😂

Plus maybe you can sell them some spare parts 🤣

^^^Ya, I was just in Texas. Saw that a few times. Kinda scary.
I was there years ago, my dad and I stopped at a roadside bbq place. Was like a big barn.

I go up to the counter, " uh can I get some brisket please? "

WHUMP. Slab lands on plate " That's a pound of meat"

"Maybe some ribs?"

WHUMP. "That's two pounds of meat"

Don't think I saw a vegetable, but there was white bimbo bread on little shelves everywhere.

So my dad and I made sandwiches to take in the truck
