turbo & lift pics

Ok, so here are some relatively lame pics - sorry but best I can do under the circumstances (ie, I should actually be working instead of running around posting pics of my truck...)

self-explanatory I hope. engine bay, body lift pics and offset bushing for rear of front control arm. truck works very nice like this so of course that means I'll continue working on it to make it more better broken

:flipoff2: Dude... where you in Riverside? I want to meet and check out that Safari turbine.... :flipoff2: I know you somewhere between 215, 60 and 91 freeway.... Well?

Mike,

Looks like you should have washed your truck before putting the turbo in. :D j/k.

Your dog doesn't look half as excited about your turbo as you do, either. :flipoff2:

Keep up the good work! ;)

Got ir done..................... :flipoff2:

Isn't that a twin turbo set up in that other pic that was posted? I see 2 wastegates, and looks like 2 outputs from the intercooler? where do I buy that?

might give my Grand National a run for its money.

Clown, i'm lovin' that rig dude! I'm jealous.

Offset bushings? What are those for? Move the axle back?

Thanks

Corrects the steering caster on the front from a lift kit taking away OE set caster. If the caster is off (what 2* is OE caster for an 80?) the truck will want to wonder a bit, if its real bad you get the famous death wobble. (More prone in the 40/55/60’s for death wobble)

Also a little bit of extra caster will help big tires track better down the road.

Wow, I'm really late getting to this to post but,

Congratulations Man!!!!!

That was tons of work all at once, I bet its like totally different trucks. Wait til you put the boost to 6 or so and see what that thing will do! I'm really interested in getting the good word on the before and after with the Supra fuel pump and the rising rate fuel reg (is that a toyota part number?). I'm also really interested in install stuff on the unichip; I'm not running it for specific setup and reliability reasons so if you make it work I'd love to know how. I'm also running stock fuel pump and stock fuel reg so I'd love to know how those things work too.

One request, since you do so much friggin work all at once, can you do the final few things in stages and actually drive the thing to and from a few days and report all the subtle differences! :D

Once again congrats man, majorly cool mods, even cooler that you DIY'ed it!!!
