I think I need one of these...any deals on shipping to Canada? :)

All locking glove box locks now come with qty x 2 OEM Japan Spec. Mounting Hardware JIS P1 Phillips Vessel Double SEMS Machine Screws ….

Hey Matt, have you figured yet out if you can key these to the same key codes as the ignition cylinders/door locks?

Over the last year or so…

I have successfully created the needed step by steps and sourced the Japan Spec. Lock and Key Service Parts Needed and now routinely Re-KEY / Re-Code any OEM Toyota Locking Gas / Fuel / Diesel Cap that uses a 2 sided / Double sided factory key profile ……1973-1997 All Vehicle Platforms globally including Land Cruisers ….

However ….

I have went at the Locking Type Round Twisting style OEM Glove Box door lock above ⬆️ in my Classified ad here un-successfully ….😕

Do to the way it’s Press-Seamed together at the Factory in Japan 🇯🇵 … I will say for now this is Not Possible , and I can say for a solid degree of certainty, that I do Not think there is a method or technique to do this correctly ….

I had / have several pre-owned same exact glove box locks , and I tried 2 different approaches….

no-go unfortunately….

The Good newz is each NOS OEM locking glove box lock I have , includes the Factory Key Code either stamped on each OEM Key Shaft , or on a included OEM Toyota little Chrome Tag shown in the photos above ⬆️

In some cases both the keys are stamped and the keys 🔑 include a little chrome key code tag , but NOT all the time ….fyi

Matt I still haven’t heard back from you about shipping my indicators. Please ship them tomorrow.
He has another thread on here somewhere for order communication. You might have better luck finding it and pinging him there. I think it's called communication portal 2.0 or something like that?
