Yup, NOS. NOS what, I don't know. See PN written on trans. Looks very similar to our H series, but with two different adapter plates on the back, and a different tailshaft. Suffix code 60720.

Open to interesting trades as well.

818-953-9230 to follow up; please, NO PMs.

Interestingly enough, it has written on the side 64FJ200.

Need to move this.

Time warp. Last call. Might have to scrap an NOS trans.:(

Any reasonable offer before it goes to scrap?

Mark have you ever put a shift came in and checked gear ratios? Tailshaft is interesting. Possible a prototype? My 76 has a four speed mated to a Borg-Warner full time transfer case. Never pulled it out to see what they all did, either different transmission with a adapter to a 2F bellhousing or adapter to the transfer case. It does have the stock hand brake adapted to the transfer case. Surprised at the detail for a prototype.

I always figured someone with more net-sleuthing ability would be able to run the PN and come up with the application.

is that PN 33200-60720? its hard to read. a quick search for that number came up empty.

Thats what it looks like to me.

From advance adapters:

A. FJ25 (1958-59): This early Land Cruiser came equipped with a 4 speed transmission and a single speed transfer case. There are no adapters available for this model transmission or transfer case. The engine found in the FJ25 is the in-line 6 cylinder “F” motor. This vehicle looks like a FJ40 but it had no front turn signals on the fenders.

Could it be one of these from an early fj25.

I technically lost possession of this warehouse space yesterday. I suppose when the new owners workers return from vacation tomorrow they will drool on it a little as they load it up to take to the scrapyard, along with half my collection of brake drums, old wagon wheels , 55 doors and the rest of my dad's jewelry tools.
