Looking to get an early cruiser shipped from Northern California to anywhere in the North East. I can take it the rest of the way to NH if it saves me some money. Flexible on dates, so would also be interested in joining in another shipment to save us both money.

If you guys are serious, we could probably make this work out. We could probably make it work out even better if a couple more people jumped in.

Do you guys have any leads on carriers or price you want to spend?

List the specifics of your loads:

Footprint (length x width x height)

Weight

Pick up and drop off zip codes

We're Serious

Talked to the other two guys, and we're all serious as long as the price is right.

Doesn't necessarily have to be in this order, although it seemed to make sense while looking at the map:

Start: Fulerton, CA - 2 FJ80 axles - (6'x1'x1' and ~300lbs each)
Next: Chatsworth, CA - Pickup FJ45 frame - (16'x2'x5', 300lbs)
Next: Ukiah CA - Complete FJ25 (13'x6'x6', ~3200lbs)

Destination: Colchester, CT or Goffstown, NH

We would also be flexible with delivery location if it meant you could be flexible with the price. For example, I could pick the stuff up in NY if you had some other stuff to drop off there and it saved us some money.

My advice is for your benefit - not for me to haul ...

My post is only to give you advice - that is a 3600 mile
minimum custom trip to CT ....

Fullerton, CA to Colchester, CT - Google Maps

I am not offering to do the trip

I can help with the complete vehicles. The parts would have to go inside the vehicles and essentially would be "free" to ship while inside. If the frame is a roller then it could go too, but that is quite a bit of running around to ask of a driver and they will charge a premium for that. If you could localize the shipment, you would save a great deal if money.

Auto Broker ?

Auto Broker ?

Unless you personally operate the equipment ....

Parts cannot be shipped inside vehicles .....

A driver hired by a broker will show up and decline the haul

Theft - damage - loss - liability prevent the
shipping of parts inside a vehicle

I had a fj40 shpped from co to Fl with stuff in it and told the broker shipping it up front and he charged me an extra few bucks (minimal). No big deal. they are ok doing it if they get paid for it and know about it up front. I used Eric at 1stcallautohaul. So what about my doors?

Van Nuys (large crate) portion of this shipment has been canceled. That should actually make this shipment alot easier for the person shipping it.

The doors to FL probably won't work out on this shipment.

We have shipped hundreds of vehicles with parts inside. The driver just needs to be aware of what they are and est. weight to mark on the BOL. Have also had some refused due to not having an accurate detail of what's inside. And yes, I am a broker.

We typically don't charge extra unless the weight and items are excessive. It never hurts to throw the driver a little extra cash to make it easier:)
